ALUMNI NEWS

 

  • John (JP) Baker '07 - headed to The University of Virginia where he will pursue a degree in physics. JP lettered in Cross Country and Wrestling and was a member of the 2007 GCM It's Academic team.

  • Adam Fisher '07 - headed to Virginia Tech.

  • Sam Mencarini '07 - headed to The University of Mary Washington. Sam was the 2007 GCM Male Athelete of the Year. He lettered in Cross Country, Wrestling and Lacrosse, and was a Senior Captain in both Wrestling and Lacrosse.

  • Kent Morimoto '07 - headed to James Madison University.

  • Garlin Sulser '07 - headed to Northern Virginia Community College. Garlin will continue to help Marshall Wrestling next year as an assistant coach.

  • Raffi Teperdjian '07 - headed to Virginia Commonwealth University.

Steven wrestles 125lbs, he was 3-11 in 2007. Info on his college team can be found at http://www.highline.edu/stuserv/athletics/new/Wrestling/. While at Marshall, Steven was a District Champion, a State-level competitor, and Most Outstanding Wrestler in 2005 and 2006.

  • Jay Blanca '06 - Currently serving in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

  • Joey Mencias '06 - Currently attending Northern VA Community College. Joey has been helping periodically with the Marshall JV Wrestling. While at Marshall, Joey received the Anthony Edwards Memorial Award for 2006.

  • Murat Demirbas '06 - Currently attending Northern VA Community College. Murat has been helping periodically with the Marshall JV Wrestling.
